It was released on June 19, 1976, by Columbia Records, peaking at No. 44 on the Billboard 200 on August 25 and holding for two weeks. Unlike its predecessors, Mirrors failed to receive Gold certification, widely attributed to the band's attempt at a more radio-friendly sound. It remains their only album produced by Tom Werman. This album spawned two singles. The first, "In Thee" / "Lonely Teardrops", peaked at No. 74 on the Billboard Hot 100 on September 29. The second, "You're Not the One (I Was Looking For)" / "Moon Crazy", did not chart. == Personnel == === Blue Öyster Cult === * Eric Bloom – lead vocals, guitar * Donald "Buck Dharma" Roeser – lead guitar, vocals * Allen Lanier – keyboards, guitar * Joe Bouchard – bass, vocals * Albert Bouchard – drums, vocals === Additional musicians === * Mickey Raphael – harmonica ("Dr. Music") * Jai Winding – strings ("In Thee") * Ellen Foley – backing vocals ("Dr. Music," "Mirrors") * Genya Ravan – backing vocals ("Dr. Music," "Mirrors") * Wendy Webb – backing vocals ("Lonely Teardrops") === Production === * Tom Werman – producer * George Geranios – pre-production * Tony Cedrone – engineer * Gary Ladinski – engineer, mixing * Gary Pritikin – engineer * Geoff Sykes – engineer * Lou Schlossberg – engineer * Loren Salazar – cover art * Elliot Gilbert – back cover photo * Special thanks to Michael Skinclothes, Full Tilt Studios, Giuliano's Custom Guitar, Steve Schenck, Bruce Lundvall, Clive Davis, and Columbia Pictures == Track listing == {| class="wikitable" !# !Title !Writer(s) !Lead vocals !Length |- | colspan="5" |Side one |- |1 |Dr. Music |Meltzer, J.
