It was released in November 1983 by [[Columbia Records]], peaking at No. 93 on the Billboard 200 on February 11, 1984. It is the first album to not feature the original band lineup, as [[Albert Bouchard]] was replaced by [[Rick Downey]] during the ''[[Fire of Unknown Origin]]'' tour.

This album spawned one single in the United States, "[[Shooting Shark]]" / "[[Dragon Lady]]", which peaked at No. 83 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 16 on the Mainstream Rock chart.
