A Long Day's Night is the fourth live album by Blue Öyster Cult. It was recorded on June 21, 2002, the summer solstice of that year, and released on September 24, 2002 by Sanctuary Records. It is the final album released under Sanctuary, who dropped the band due to Curse of the Hidden Mirror's poor sales.
The concert was released on both CD and DVD, with the DVD containing six more songs than the CD and the CD containing a performance of "Astronomy" that was excluded from the DVD. Both the CD and DVD were remastered in 2020 by Frontiers Music SRL, with the new Blu-ray release having a 5.1 surround sound mix and upscaled 1080p video, as well as never-before-seen performances of "Astronomy" and "Joan Crawford", the latter of which was not present on either versions of the original album.
