Agents of Fortune is the fourth studio album by Blue Öyster Cult. It was released on May 21, 1976 by Columbia Records, peaking at No. 32 on the Billboard 200 on November 13. It was certified Platinum by RIAA, their only album to do so, and is their second best-selling album of all time, behind Some Enchanted Evening.
This album spawned two singles. The first, "(Don't Fear) The Reaper" / "Tattoo Vampire", peaked at No. 12 on the Billboard Hot 100 on November 6 and held for two weeks. The second, "This Ain't the Summer of Love / "Debbie Denise", did not chart.
